ARCS Foundation Honolulu Chapter's 2024 ARCS Scholars will present their research in this free, open public symposium Saturday, April 20, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in POST Room 723 on the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa campus.
The interdisciplinary symposium will offer glimpses into a range of UH research—from use of microfluidic materials for better wireless reception and artificial intelligence for expanded cancer detection to understanding a mysterious new marine algae and little understood plants in the cloud-forest canopy to enhanced methods for drug development and pest control.
A panel of judges will select two presenters to receive ARCS Scholar of the Year awards, to be announced at the 2024 ARCS Scholar Banquet.
